Take a city tour

From bus rides to biking and guided walks, Ushuaia offers different tours to discover its corners, places and history.

Ushuaia has a variety of shops, restaurants, cafes and museums where you can spend some time while you’re exploring the town. But if you want to see other places away from the town’s centre you can take a guided tour on a London-style bus or a bus customized as the old prison train.

These tours will take you to places such as La Misión Alta, Laguna del Diablo, Alem Av. and some panoramic viewpoints. Another option is to take an e-bike ride. These bikes are specially designed to reduce the effort, so they are a good choice if you want to pedal up the steeps streets of the city. The circuit goes through some of Ushuaia’s historic places, and will take you to the Martial Glacier Natural Reserve, located 7 kilometers from the town’s centre.

If cycling is not your thing, you can also take a walking tour with a local guide. Whatever choice you make, autumn in Tierra del Fuego is an excellent time to explore the corners and nooks of the southernmost city in the world.
